ENDURANCE TRAINING PROGRAMS SPRING 2026

from $180.00

The ability to run long distances well is truly a superpower - for all sports. Our Endurance Training Program seeks to strengthen young athletes and add to their aerobic capacity by supplementing their other team practices during the week with longer repetitions of distance running.

There is nothing fancy here. This program isn’t designed for short term, gimmicky gains and we are not interested in beating these athletes down - but rather building them up and making them stronger and improving their fitness. In short, this is the opposite of a speed and agility program that will work your children to exhaustion and leave them sore for days afterwards. We want your children to be able to run circles around their opponents. We want their time trials to go easy and we don’t want running to be an obstacle for them, in any sport.

This is welcome to children in grades 4 through 9, who are active and have some running ability already. They should to be able to run under an 8:00 mile and able to handle 3-4 miles combined during an hour we are together. Athletes who would benefit from this program might be playing: Basketball, Lacrosse, Soccer, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Track and Field.
Workouts might resemble something like this:
Warmup, Drills

1 mile slow

3 × 800m medium

4 × 100m fast
